It seems like there is a new trend among brokerages and it’s the art of showing properties using robots (crazy, huh?). Some companies like VirtualAPT and REX, are now making three-dimensional property videos, answering questions and collecting information from potential buyers through the use of robots.
For some customers it feels “a little weird” because they assure that is like the agent is there, but they are really not. Although a common fear among brokers is that they will become obsolete in the future, the truth is that “agents will always remain an important part of real estate deals,” as Compass co-founder Robert Reffkin told the Wall Street Journal.
Remember, robots do not offer the personal service a licensed agent does.
